From meeting David Bowie in a Sydney pub, to being mugged in the middle of a silent religious ceremony in Amsterdam, ‘Monsters of Innocence’ is drenched in the often strange experiences through more than a decade with Distant Locust. At this point, the members of the band Monsters of Innocence have just arrived in Europe and have hurried to Heidelberg where fat expatriate venue-booker, Stabber, has promised them a series of gigs. But on their arrival they wake Stabber from a heroin haze. Still hopeful, they arrive at their first gig....
